THERMAL COMFORT SURVEY:

This is a Thermal Comfort Survey for use in achieving LEED Indoor Environmental Quality credit 7.2 Thermal Comfort, Verification.  It comes in the form of a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that asks a number of questions pertaining to occupant comfort in compliance with the LEED credit and the referenced ASHRAE Standard 55-2005.  For example:

Date:

Time:

Outside Air Temperature:

Occupant Name (optional):

Room Number (optional):

What are the current sky conditions?

What is the current season?

What is your average activity level?

On what floor is your workspace located?

How satisfied are you with the Temperature in your workspace?

How satisfied are you with the Humidity in your workspace?

..among several other relevant questions

The survey can be distributed to the building occupants and then the collection of surveys can then be analyzed by the Overview spreadsheet (also included) which collects the information from the returned surveys and presents the information in an efficient manner and makes the required calculations per the LEED EQc7.2 requirements.  This is a great tool to turn hours of individual survey analysis into minutes of reviewing this concise overview tool!
